APS (Antiphospholipid Syndrome) in Pregnancy

Study Title: Significance of Antiphospholipid Antibodies in Pregnancy Without a Prior Thrombosis or Miscarriage

IRB#  Pro00005488

CURRENTLY ENROLLING PARTICIPANTS
The purpose of this research project is to identify patients that have tested positive for antiphospholipid antibodies, yet have not suffered a clinically significant event, such as recurrent pregnancy loss or thrombosis by identifying gene expression profiles that may predict which patients will suffer a clinically significant event, particularly if the patient is pregnant. It is well known that many such patients have these detectable antibodies, yet do not suffer from any clinical manifestation.  This study is being conducted through the Rare Disease Clinical Research Network and is funded by the National Institutes for Health.
