• Transfusion Medicine/Hemostasis Clinical Research Network - multi-center clinical research trials that will accelerate studies in the appropriate use of blood products and novel growth factors, and in the treatment of hemostatic disorders.
• Rare Thrombotic Disease Consortium - clinical investigators partnering with patient support groups and institutions within and outside of the U.S. that focuses on uncommon thrombotic disorders, including the antiphospholipid antibody syndrome, heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, and other rare disorders.
• Thrombophilia Pilot Program - determine the efficacy of integrated multi-disciplinary care and prevention services for persons with hemophilia, other hereditary bleeding disorders including women with bleeding disorders, and thrombophilia to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with bleeding and clotting diseases.
